captivity is very sad to see for any living creature....
while i agree with 9:19 to a certain extent, i do feel that captivity is necessary for educational purposes and for keeping breeds alive. captivity for entertainment (i.e. circus's)is rediculous and unnecessary.
that being said - it is truly amazing how a creature so deadly can be so gentle & loving. :)
i feel sorry for any creature living in the wild. you DO realize its eat or be eaten out there, right?
