Germany does this already and tailgating will get you a larger fine than speeding.
soon every car will have something similar to an easy pass just as phones will function as credit and debit cards and you well be billed without ever being stopped for traffic infractions or feeding a parking meter eventually there will just be a chip in our heads I suspect
good!!! about freaking time they do something about these bad drivers instead of the quick and easy speeding ticket.

I am tired of all the horrible drivers, in Salisbury mainly, who create nothing but havoc on the road but I agree this is a dumb decision. How can you be sure a camera can detect more then one car commiting violations at the same time ? I think this is another dumb idea by the governament which wastes money.
Maryland State police should just get serious about catching the bad divers and drive in regular cars instead of the cars that everybody slows down for. Start enforcing slower cars in the right lane. Catch the guys that really need a ticket instead of the lone speeder on a road going 15 over and no other car in site. But hey they look pretty in their uniform on the side of the road.
Does the camera detect the citizen who's defending our right that is cutting the cables to the camera?
