I have supported Stevie Prettyman with her county council seat for the last 12 years and will continue to do so for the next four years.I was disgusted and appalled today at her opponent and his supporters behavior when she was called to throw the Chip.
His "family/supporters" were sitting on the top bleacher and booed her as she went forward.
That jerk Calpino turned and smiled at them. This is the same jerk that home schools his kids. Is this the behavior he teaches?
I have attended this event for several years and have never experienced this behavior.
The Farming community doesn't need the likes of him and his stupid family at any events related to Agriculture.

Unfortunately that is the crap that gives the Eastern Shore a bad rap. The people on the Shore for the most part are good natured and respectful.

That was a very bad thing to do. All it did was give more votes to Stevie. She was also a shoe-in anyway. I have been watching this guy fairly close to see if he has anything to offer. NOT!! The bad in people always comes out in the END!! Go Stevie , you have 2 more confirmed votes here and I will convince the rest of family , 32 more votes.
I am part of the farming community in Wicomico County. Stevie is and always has been a friend to us. She attends our membership meetings and fought hard for us to retain our property rights.
I don't know this guy or his family but who are they to do this to an upstanding person?

Stevie is a class act. They are just jealous that they can not fill her shoes. She really does care about this community and ALWAYS does her homework. For anyone to Boo this Lady shows what type of person they truly are and they should be ashamed of themselves.
I can put that boy to work on my farm. It will help build his character for him and have respect for those of us who want to help this county.

Adversity reveals character. Clearly Calpino has none and is raising his children to have none. It is an affront to all who home school their children and teach them MANNERS, CONSIDERATION and so many other positive qualities.
If Calpino can't be a stand up guy during an election, can you just imagine him in Annapolis??!!
He is a complete and total fool and continues to prove it to all of us. What a shame that he is wasting the voters time with his petty, ridiculous "campaign". Go away!!!!
Stevie by a landslide!!!
Just met Stevie recently and I was impressed with her. I'm not a resident of Wicomico County so I have no axe to grind. My high school P.E. coach lectured our class the first day of the 7th. grade. He said booing was unprofessional and would not be allowed while he was the coach. He went on to say that if he caught anyone booing, he would give them an "F". To you who boo, I give you an "F" That means failing, you know!
Stevie is one of my best friends.I have known her for years. She is a kind person and always puts others ahead of herself. Always trying to help others. I am so glad I wasn't there to witness this because I would have had to say something to these people who probably don't even know her. I'm sure she is offended by the lack of respect, not just for her, but for all elected officials. Did other opponents do the same to their opponents as this bunch did? I doubt it.
Nobody on the County Council works harder than Stevie Prettyman. She deserves to be reelected.
This is the guy that does not want to pay any taxes and has hung Krovita in effigy. What an upstanding citizen he is for Wicomico County. Don't think he will get my vote. Ever!
