I am spitting mad! This morning the Daily Times has an article about Ireton's crime package. It says, and I quote!!!!
"Ireton worked with Councilwomen Debbie Campbell and Terry Cohen, reportedly for their expertise, but didn't include other council members. His excluding them is one main reason they've said they're opposing it now."
Are Smith, Shields and Comegys children? They and Barrie Tilghman excluded Debbie Campbell and Terry Cohen from pretty much everything, but both of them have stayed classy and mature and done their jobs.
Can't Louise Smith read on her own and comment, something like "I like this, but that's not going to fly"? Does she have to have a task force to figure out if she should go to the bathroom?
Good thing she's not a chicken farmer because she'd be hiring a fox to watch the henhouse instead of a good old guard dog. My son is a landlord in another state and he said they have NEVER been invited to write legislation, although they make their feelings known -- win some, lose some. Even he thinks this is a crazy situation. The landlords have just as much chance to talk about this to council as anyone else. This whole argument is just plain STUPID!
Officials who refuse to even discuss something like this should be impeached!!! How do you impeach someone in Salisbury? Can we take them to court? Something, anything!!!

I say start a recall petition and get rid of all of them especially Jim Liarton!!

Recalls are very hard to do because you have to get more signatures on an official petition than there are people who show up to vote!
Smith is foolish to run again, but it's obvious she will.
That's why she is courting SAPOA. She lost so many votes due to her lies, she will need the slumlords to bus her in a bunch of bought off tenants in order to win.
If the Republican Club backs or supports this woman, (Louise Smith) ever again it will cause many menbers to simply walk aby from participating with the republican party ever again. Expect to see several Teabaggers and AFP Members to get involved in the next election. Unfortunately many will not be running because they love Salisbury. They'll be doing to to load up their organization in anything and everything they can. Just my personal opinion.

Actually it is not. If I remember correctly you need signatures from 10% of the registered voters. If that is the case then it wouldn't take that many. You work on getting the 10% of the signatures and then several hundred more for the ones they throw out. Someone has to go to the elections office and get a list of the registered voters in the city of Salisbury. Go door to door and get the required signatures and then some. With the success of rallies and teaparties I feel confident a successful petition is in order. We voted for Louise and got shanked. We voter for Jim Ireton because we thought we couldn't be fooled again and he shanked us. This man does not deserve to be in the position he is in. He treats citizens like second class citizens. He jumped in bed with the enemy, FOB's and tried to give Chambers and Pick pay raises while other city employees were getting money taken away from them.
With the weather stir beautiful outside I am quite confident the citizens can get enough signatures in less than 2 weeks. Please someone get one started. I would love to but there would be retalliation. I and many others could work behind the scenes for a successful recall petition. Let's do it!
Actually Joe the Republican Club shoots it's self in the foot because it rarely ever gets involved in municipal elections and it should. That is one reason the city council is messed up now. With that being said the Wicomico County Republican Club and Central Committee is messed up. They are their own worse enemy.
10:46 If you live in the city, stand up and be counted or leave. You can't always leave it to someone else because you're too scared. Why would you want someone else to do something that you're not willing to do. That's a big problem in Salisbury. Too many people stand back and wait for someone else to stand up and take the heat.

You obviously don't know that persons position so you don't have a right to critize them. Who do you think you are telling someone to leave their home. YOU ARE THE PROBLEM!!
Citizens get what they deserve. If they would vote, go to meetings participate the government would work. Of course Louise is a liar, she was a liar when she ran for office, but did any one hold her feet to the fire? NO so, the citizens have gotten what they deserve. Louise will not support Crime legislation...holy hanna, how much worse can it get folks, Salisbury's crime is outrageous..she is protecting the slum lords, crime is good evidentially because people who should be accountable are protected by Louise Smith and Shields is plain off the charts, how can she possibly give her warped reasoning as an excuse for not supporting crime legislation when the exact people whom she claims to represent are the ones who need the most protection. She won by one vote, that one vote signifys the fact that she should not be in office, she is without a doubt the worst of the worst.
I say do a recall folks, especially Liar Louise..just do it. You will win, and finally get some help with your city.The alternative is real, the alternative is dangerous, how many more murders dose it take for the citizens of Salisbury to do something?
