It seems Julie Brewington has finally found an endorsement from a group of rednecks who think guns are the most important topic on the Eastern Shore. These are the guys who believe Obama is going to take their guns away.
Other Candidates are grateful Julie was able to take their endorsement as they don't want to be connected with this group in any way, shape or form. Hey, sometimes you've got to take whatever you can get. I just wouldn't brag about an endorsement from a gun group.

Ok...Not a big fan of JB, but dont bash any "Gun Groups". Tons of people shoot guns for game, sport, or just to have fun. What part of that is not worth bragging about.. I am the only female on my Trap Shooting Team and am DAMN proud of that..

I don't understand how guns are even an issue. We have them, we use them, the Bill of Rights guarantees our right to have them -- so what's the issue, exactly?

Just because an article is published here doesn't mean I agree with it. However, people like you always want to try to use that against me and that's cool, I really don't care.
When someone comes knocking at my door for my guns, that's when you'll see me up in arms over it. until then its all talk. You know, kind of like all the Tea Party BS. You'll hear that kind of talk at AFP meetings too.
Many of these people are the kind that only hear what they want to hear. I believe it's called selective hearing.

I'm guessing if you own a gun on the eastern shore and you are a member of a sportsman's club that provides a safe place to target shot your firearms and your archery equipment that makes you a redneck ? well damn if i haven't met more then a few politicians and local members of our sheriff's office, Salisbury police force and state troopers on a range. If this makes us all rednecks so be it.

You are all missing the point..Joe says that "when they come knocking on my door then I will be concerned" By then it is too late. As always Obama is not going through the front door. He does not use terms like "the fairness doctrine". He can't win that arguement but he can regulate radio ownership diversity and by extension content. This applies to guns in that he won't come for your guns, he will go after ammo. If you have no ammo of what use is the gun. If he requires you to claim guns on your taxes and charges you a $1500 tax per gun for a "danger fee" most people will voluntarily give up their gun. So is he putting up a bill to knock on your door and take them, No but he has other ways to "nudge" you in the direction he wants you to go. It won't seem so bad to you if it is you that decides to give up your guns. He is even working behind the scenes to have firarms regulated globally through the United Nations. In his world the global views outweigh the US constitution and that is where our problem lies.

I agree -- 4:08 is perfectly correct...When they knock on your door, its waaaaaaay too late to do anything except get your arms up (as in I surrender). Making ammo prohibitively expensive, limiting accessories (like 30 round clips), forcing individuals to show (and record) ID to purchase ammo, outlawing possession of guns, etc, has impact on gun ownership. Just what "they" want. Don't make fun of, or ridicule gun owners...they built this country, fought the Revolution, and continue to provide a deterent to complete federal imperialism. And owning guns, but not belonging to the NRA or such, DOES NOT make one a "nutcase" or "right wing conservative crazie" or a "redneck" for that matter. How insulting...and 4:08 is right too...Obama and his cohorts WOULD take all guns from the citizens if they could only figure a way to do it without starting another revolution...
