Analysis shows such children are about 7 percent of U.S. total
About 8 percent of children born in the United States in 2008 — about 340,000 — were offspring of unauthorized immigrants, according to an analysis of Census Bureau data by the Pew Hispanic Center released on Wednesday.
The center said that unauthorized immigrants compose about 4 percent of the adult population, but because they are relatively young and have high birthrates, their children make up a much larger share of the newborn population and the child population (7 percent of those younger than age 18).

340,000 and we have to pay the hospital bill on them. How much does it cost to have a baby these days. THAT'S ALOT of wasted money.
Even more money is wasted in the emergency rooms for the parents coming in for care. When will we stop the madness. Lock these people out of the job market by going after the employers (they know these folks are illegal) and you'll see them running in droves to get back across the border.
cross the border for free health care and Obama has his arms open wide and we pay for it .
As soon as they are born DEPORT THEM
with the rest of their families.
Go after the money- no jobs for the illegals, no more problems.
AS I see it these illegals, willing to work, are alot more moral than the tax cheaters willing to hire them.
We need the criminal alien removal act !
1109 this article talks about babies born in 2008 when Georgie boy was president
And 1234 those babies are citizens whether you like the 14th amendment or not

If Mom and Dad want to get their foot in America by having leagalized kids, then fix the kids when they are born so they can't reproduce anymore
ROb s,
don't waste your time. These clowns blame Obama for the crack in the liberty bell.
Meanwhile the Repubs. they swear are the best thing since sliced bread. Seems like they would understand that the idealogues and politicians are gang raping america. The conservative side of the aisle is simply sitting back waiting their turn to jump on.
