Wargotz Leads Mikulski By 3% In Recent Poll

Poll Data from CD1 Baltimore County is Encouraging

Annapolis, MD
-- As per the suggestion of the Tarrance Group, The Wargotz for U.S. Senate Campaign has provided additional details subsequent to the initial press release announcing Dr. Wargotz's lead in Baltimore County CD1. We thank the Tarrance Group for advising us on how best to present the information. The Wargotz campaign also thanks the Andy Harris Campaign for U.S. Congress for their assistance in obtaining this important and encouraging data.

In a poll conducted by the Tarrance Group, lead Republican U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Eric Wargotz is leading 24-year incumbent Senator Barbara Mikulski in CD1 Baltimore County. Wargotz, serving out his first term as the elected President of the Queen Anne's County Board of Commissioners, received 34% of the vote, while Mikulski received 31%. A little known independent candidate received 9%. Twenty-six percent of the voters were undecided.

The poll was done over two days at the end of May and although the sample is limited (41), we believe the numbers are important to note, and encouraging. We chose to report the Baltimore County data as we expect it to be a bell-weather predictor. Wargotz also beat Mikulski in some Eastern Shore Counties. It shows that our state-wide efforts to oust the incumbent are "bearing some fruit."
The Tarrance Group is one of the most widely respected and successful Republican strategic research and polling firms in the nation.
"These results prove what I have known for over a year, this race is winnable," Wargotz said. "I am particularly pleased with these numbers as we have focused campaign resources and time in the Baltimore area, her home base. As we continue to focus our efforts in other counties, we are confident that we will see similar, if not better, positive numbers," Wargotz continued.

"In fact, with these poll results, I am so confident that our message is resonating with the voters of Maryland, I have placed an additional $500,000 into the campaign so that we can take our message of creating jobs, cutting wasteful spending and lowering taxes to the four corners of Maryland" continued Wargotz.

In addition to being the only elected official running for the Republican nomination, Commissioner Wargotz is also a practicing physician and business owner. Eric and his wife, Cheryl-Ann live on the Eastern Shore where they are raising their three children.

Theres no chance this is an accurate poll. Senator Barb is going to trounce whoever she faces, finish another term, then she rides off into the sunset. This is one of those examples where its best to dance with who brung ya.

Actually- this poll report is fraudulent. It misrepresents the actual polling data according to the company who did the poll.
Wargotz has been warned by them about it.

Wargotz already backtracked on this statement, he knew he was misrepresenting the data.

Wargotz is honorable and decent. The way this reads, his campaign apparently is following the advice of the polling group and releasing the information along the lines they have suggested. Good for him. Numbers don't lie, apparently, his campaign has not lied - only Rutledge continues to mislead and spread lies.
