AMBER ALERT



ADELPHI, Md. - Police have issued an AMBER alert for 2-year-old Aaron Gamez.
Police says the boy's mother's told them that her ex-boyfriend, 22-year-old Jose Alex Turcios, took her son outside of the Mount Vernon Square Metro station Friday afternoon.

The boy is described as Hispanic, 3 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 40 pounds and has curly black hair. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and blue pants.

Turcios is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 195 pounds. The suspect has two tattoos, one that says "Lidia" on his neck and another that says "Ice" on his forearm, and may be wearing a cream-colored shirt and blue jeans.

Police believe the suspect may be driving a 1999 black Nissan Sentra with Maryland tag 5FJ-E91.

If you have any information about this case police ask that you don't take any action yourself but call 911.

I really hope they find him. There is no way this had to do with the block off up by the royal farms that is next to the retirement center on 13 where they hold the festival is it. There were cops blocking off all the roads with no accidents or commotion around in sight. does anyone know what this was about??

This Amber Alert was canceled at 15:24 hrs. This date. Unknown outcome but a text was sent to LE canceling the alert.
