Chesapeake Bay Trust Contest

Hey Joe -

My name is Bailey and I am writing on behalf of The Chesapeake Bay Trust. I loved reading your blog about Salisbury news. It seems that you have great enthusiasm for covering events and activities of our local community. I particularly enjoyed reading your article about community crime prevention with the Ocean City Police Department celebration on the boardwalk.

Since you are interested in spreading community news, we have a “Hooray for the Bay” factoid contest that would be perfect for your readers. Since you write about issues within the Maryland area, this contest would be a great opportunity to get involved in saving the Chesapeake Bay. To participate in the contest, you simply have to spot a Bay Trust factoid sign placed around parks, schools, and community centers within Maryland. Once you spot our sign, text in the keyword or photo of the sign for a chance to win a free bay plate or $2,500.

If you think your readers might be interested, please pass this along. We'd love for you to participate. Feel free to check out more about the contest. In the meantime, you can check us out on Facebook or Twitter.

Let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks.
Bailey

Where doese The Chesapeake Bay Trust get their money for this contest? Please don't say "taxpayers".

No worries! The Trust is an independent 501(c)(3) grant-making organization whose work is funded by voluntary contributions from individuals and
corporations throughout the watershed. The Hooray for the Bay contest is not funded via taxpayer dollars.
