Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On July 28, 2010 at approximately 1:36 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol on North Salisbury Boulevard and conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by below listed suspect # 1 for traffic violations. A routine records check revealed that suspect # 1 did not have a driver’s license. Suspect # 1 was arrested and during the arrest the officers observed handgun ammunition in the vehicle. The officers received consent to search the vehicle from the owner, below listed suspect # 2, and as a result of the search located a loaded handgun beneath the driver’s seat. Additional handgun ammunition was also found in the rear passenger area.

On July 28, 2010 at approximately 7:38 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant for possession of marijuana. The suspect was arrested on July 22, 2010 for attempted murder and was found to be in possession of marijuana at the time of arrest.
ARRESTED: Brooks Lamar Seldon, 18 years of age
