Author On NAACP: If The Hood Fits

Following stunning allegations that the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People lobbied the Justice Department to not prosecute New Black Panther Party members who were videotaped in 2008 – clad in black and "guarding" a polling place with a nightstick – the civil rights organization responded by formally repudiating racism in "the tea parties."

"The hypocrisy of such conceit is galling," says Erik Rush, author of a new top-selling book on racial politics, "Negrophilia: From Slave Block to Pedestal – America's Racial Obsession."

"There is no racism in the tea party movement," says Rush, "and any condemnation or intimation that there is by the NAACP or any other organization is simply part and parcel of their political imperative regarding the social balkanization of America. These assertions (pertaining to the tea party) are lies, and those proffering them know it."

The 101st NAACP convention currently taking place in Kansas City doesn't include an address by the president, but Michelle Obama was on the agenda.

Now the Kansas City Star reports there will be a vote by attending delegates on a resolution that "all people of good will to repudiate the racism of the tea parties, and to stand in opposition to its drive to push our country back to the pre-civil rights era."

"It is also monumentally hypocritical for anyone – whether it is the president, the NAACP, or the first lady – to speak to race at all at this juncture, given this administration's role in deepening racial tensions in America and its lack of evenhandedness in addressing issues concerning race," adds Rush.

Divide and concur....the dumbocrats are trying as hard as they can to divide us once again along racial lines so they can rally their base for support. I think this will be a major mistep and backfire.

That being said, why do we even allow this type of thing to cancer our country and our world? God created us all, brothers and sisters together, but some walk amongst us that feel the need to hang on to the past. For some reason they can't let go.

The NAACP needs their to be racial tension in our country, otherwise they have no cause. I think it's time they changed their name and mission to NAAAP (National Association for the Advancement of ALL People), they should be for the advancement of ALL people, and so should every other group or cause out there.

The Bible tells us to forget the past and not worry about the future. Well, there are many who try so hard to hang on to the terrible things that have happened before. I think it's hard for some to realize that we are all born sinners. In God's eyes no one sin is greater or worse than any other.

Instead, I pray and plead for us all to accept one another as a brother and sister of our creator. Forget and forgive the past, spread love and joy to ALL, regardless of anything that may seem different or dividing and maybe, just maybe we'll be able to leave this world a happier and safer place for our children.

God bless you all, and if anyone out there wants to learn more about God, Jesus and the hope for tomorrow, please contact me or contact your local church.

Obama is the most racially divisive President this country has ever known .

Too bad the decision not to prosecute happened under the BUSH Justice Department.

This is just more of the right-wing noise machine trying to make an issue out of nothing in an attempt to attack obama. they've got no ideas and they've got no solutions to our problems. So they just attack, attack, attack, even if the non-problem actually occurred under someone elses watch.

And you lemmings fall for it hook, line, and sinker.

Pres. Obama through the actions of his administration is setting race relations back in this country.

America showed that as a Nation and a people that it is beyond racism by electing Pres. Obama. This does not mean that individual racist no longer exist, for they will always be with us. They come in all sizes shapes and color.

The New Black Panther Organization has and is demonstrating racism. By dress and behavior they have been videoed intimidating voters at a Philadelphis pollng place. They are using the racial epithet "cracker" and kill "cracker" babies.

The word is used as a derogatory description of light skinned people as is the word "nigger" used as a derogatory desccription of darked skinned people.

Racist actions of any kind from any individual or organization should be dealt with to fullest extent of the law!

Pres. Obama and his Administration seem to be participating in and encouraging reverse descrimination. THIS A VERY SAD TIME FOR AMERICA, when its President permits and participates in such behavior. God help us!

How is it that the NAACP can call blacks colored people and when I call them colored I am a racist? They need to change their name to NAABP - National Association for the Advancement of Black People. Just a thought They call each other the N word and get away with calling whites "Cracker" but if a white calls them the N word the white's a racist seems lopsided HUH!
