Robbery Suspect Captured After He Victimized An 83 Year-Old Woman As She Walked To Church

Delaware State Police have arrested a 28 year-old suspect after he robbed an 83 year-old woman as she was walking to church.

Troopers arrested Green in Pike Creek today after he robbed an elderly woman as she was walking in the parking lot to church early this morning. Green approached the woman and forcibly removed the victim’s purse then fled in a tan colored Toyota.

Later in the day Green was taken into custody in the unit block of Rankin Road, Pike Creek by a state trooper.

He was charged with Robbery 1st charges and was committed to the Department of Correction in default of $5,000 bail.

All of the victim’s property was recovered with the exception of her currency. She was not injured during the incident.

The Delaware magistrates/commissioners are a joke. $5,000 bond is a joke for a robbery. In Maryland that would have been 50k or more. Delaware needs to come out of the stick and realize that have a huge problem.

So I wonder if anyone witnessed this. The by-stander effect takes place all of the time. Put him in the women's prison.
