Incident: Theft Investigation
Date of Incident: 13 May 2010
Location: 1400 block of S. Salisbury Blvd., Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Pending

Narrative: On 13 May 2010
at 11:58 AM – a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to an office building in the 1400 block of S. Salisbury Blvd for a reported burglary and theft that had just occurred. Occupants of the building reported an unknown suspect entered a back door designated for employee use only, grabbed a purse from the floor and then walked outside. A worker there attempted to confront this individual who then ran off towards the direction of Salisbury University with the purse while leaving his bicycle behind.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25-30 YOA, wearing a green jacket and a red hat. Attached to this press release is a photograph of the suspect’s bicycle. If anyone has any information on this crime or the possible identity of the operator of this bicycle, you are asked to contact the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office at 410-548-4890 or Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776.

Look on the bottom of the bike for a number, its most likely stolen to.

What about all the cold cases from bank robbery to murder that havent been solved in town, are the cases closed or (I hope) someone is still investigating them.

The bike obviously came from SU - many students leave bikes in the bike racks on campus when not in use and almost ALL of them have bags over the seats to avoid the seat getting wet in the rain. I've never seen joe public do this.

But that doesn't mean the perpetrator is an SU student; the bike could have been stolen - some do not lock down their bikes.

its funny how its possible the purse may be empty and the suspect has left a more valuable bike behind,so therefore he has went in the hole on this deal! lmao!!!
