Youth Summer Activities Available At Billy Gene Jackson Sr. Park

The Salisbury Advisory Council on Youth Activities is gearing up for summer by offering 3 summer activities at Billy Gene Jackson Sr. Park including tee ball, tennis and golf lessons. Registration will be accepted at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center Box Office through May 28.

Tee ball play is open to children ages four to six and runs from June 19 to July 24 on Saturdays from 8am to 9am. Registration is $10, and each participant will receive a t-shirt, cap/visor and trophy at the end of the season. Children are asked to bring their own glove/mitt.

Youth ages seven to fourteen can take part in the tennis program, which will take place on Saturdays from 8am to 9am from June 19 to July 24. Registration is $15 per player, and each participant is asked to bring their own racket. Participating youth will receive a t-shirt, cap/visor and a trophy at the end of the season.

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore’s William Dillon will serve as the golf lessons instructor. Dillon’s lessons are open to youth and young adults ages seven to 17 and will take place on Wednesdays from 10am-11am from June 23 to July 28. Registration is $15 per participant.
