What the Hell is an Easter Egg Parade in Fruitland?
Why do the council members feel the need to spit out upcoming events? Don't they have something else to do? I guess they are no longer busy with the Executive form of government.
The county council meetings have turned into a freaking joke these days.

9:15 PM is absolutely correct. Who cares about their silly announcements. That is much worse than the silly proclamations. I don't care that the Westside Volunteer Fire Department is having their "Famous Steak Dinner" coming up. I am not electing you to give them or anyone free plugs. I am not paying taxes for your compensation to give them or anyone free plugs. You people are making those silly announcements just to suck up for a free vote. Must be an election year. Those boring announcements took up approximately 1/2 hour of time to get through 7 council members. Yes the Wicomico County Council is a JOKE!!
I was amazed that Councilman Holloway and Counilwoman Prettyman was bringing up LEOPS for the County Deputies. Didn't you guys vote against it last year and the year before?? Oh that's right an election is fast approaching and now you all are sucking up to the FOP and the 73% of the voters that voted for it. I hope the FOP doesn't forget. Guess what I and many others haven't forgotten and we are going to the polls with the intent to clean house.
What the hell is wrong with you people? You complain about everything. Is there anything that is going to satisfy you, ever?
And, I for one, like to hear what is going on in my community and I thank all the council for letting us know.
As for the comments regarding LEOPS: Get over it and work together. You have taken it to the courts and they have ruled it unconstitutional. In simple words for you, that means the council would be breaking the law if they supported what you all wanted. Seems to me you all need to work together. And, I for one am tired of hearing "it's an election year." Hell, every year is an election year for that matter.
