The Maryland State Police had to fly in a Bomb Technician from Easton to work on the suspicious package left in the Drive Thru at the Hebron Savings Bank in Hebron, MD.During their investigation law officials found Happy Birthday Joe Albero on the package. Further investigation on George Merrill Collins, Waller Road in Salisbury, Maryland revealed no prior arrest history and could be released as soon as this afternoon by a Commissioner.
While the Sheriff's Department charged Mr. Collins with multiple charges, because of no prior arrest history and the fact that he's probably not a flight risk, the odds of him being released are pretty good.
That being said, we are reaching out to the Waller Road Community and asking that neighbors contact the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, (410-548-4891) immediate if they see Mr. Collins driving his Gator anywhere off his property.

George Collins did something that could of caused problems. What if someone had had a heart attack over the stress of thinking they were hear something that would blow up.
Many people do what Joe does every single day, maybe not on a blog but certainly to their friends. I get at least one call a day from someone who needs to discuss how others tick this person off. It's the same thing only one on one.
I was attacked on someone's blog. I know what it's like. The reason I was attacked was due to this person not liking those who I call dear friends. So he started saying I was gay, a brown noser, etc. At first it hurt, after several months of it and seeing my picture on his blog I realized he was getting exactly what he wanted, to hurt me. I'm stronger than that, I started printing his crap and showing it to others. Eventually he stopped when he saw it wasn't getting the effect he wanted. BUT this man never ever sent a pkg with a note on it that caused the kind of attention Collins has done. Do I compare the one who attacked me with Collins? Hell no!
Collins is going to hurt someone one day. It's a shame that just because he doesn't have a prior record he can so easily be released. Whats this tell everyone out there? This is a serious wrong message to others!

Collins is a clear risk to society, although his "bombs" turn out to be paper the threat is one of these times it may be the real deal. Which means the police have to be on edge and a lot of expenses is being thrown out the window. The idiot should have to pay every expense incurred as a result of his stupid decisions/games.
If this guy has no job, his electric is off for nonpayment, and whatnot, how does he have a myspace and facebook account that he keeps putting on these letters?? I doubt he has a laptop with a wireless card.

George lives near my family and this "stuff" has been going on for months. My understanding is he has been taking in for psych exams but released after a few days each time. No prior record, only becuase he has not hurt anyone yet, but give it time he will. My neighbors and I will be keeping a close eye on him but we can't be watching him all the time. I encourage all in the area to call the Sheriff if you see anything, I mean anything, that worries you, better safe than sorry.

Hebron Suspicious Package - Latest News

HEBRON, Md. - A suspicious package caused a scene in Hebron Tuesday. It was found in the Hebron Savings bank drive through.
Deputy State Fire Marshal Matt Stevens says, "We approached the package remotely from a safe distance, utilizing our robot, he grabbed a hold of the pkg, took it to a safe distance away from buildings and people and we conducted a render safe operation."
The package was found to have nothing more than literature inside. Wicomico Sheriff's Deputies say they do have a suspect in custody. He reportedly admitted to leaving the package Tuesday, along with one Monday by a post office in Mardela Springs. Since there were no actual bomb threats, officials say once he is arrested he should only face disorderly conduct charges.

i hope you do read this blog. My daughter goes to west side school in hebron and would like to just what it was that Joe did to you that would cause you do what you did. If you have something against Joe you should leave your packages at the end of his driveway I'm sure he wouldn't mind. But, no instead you get a school full of innocent children put on lock down and they didn't even know why. They could hear the Helicopter flying around and no one could tell why. His pic is on Daily Time site. I live down the road & pass the house going to & from work. t's well known he is mentally ill. We all received similar letters in our mailboxes a few months ago regarding his missing dog ranting about the police etc. It is scary to have little kids & live so close. He is a real concern knowing he is walking around the area all times of the day & night. Most windows are broken out etc. Yard is beyond describable it is such an eye sore. He needs professional help to protect the public and him from himself. He is a ticking time bomb & going to hurt someone eventually.
Regarding other rants, not he time or place if you lived near this guy you'd be concerned for your family's safety & be glad to get info anywhere you could. Cops won't tell us anything, and very little online elsewhere. I welcome any news regarding this.
I am George Collins sister...just wanted to report that he is in jail at the moment. his bond is $500,000 but will not be released until his court date. I know this will help alot of people sleep better tonight including my self. I dont have to worry if he is cold/hot hungry or thirsty. I know that he will not be able to hurt him self or others. It kinda didnt hit home until I saw his picture on delmarva now and it kinda breaks my heart. A little bit of history on him, he was in the military back in the day. He is very, very intelligent. He was in the chicken business for years which ended about a year or so ago. He did well in that. He had bought himself a brand new truck and motorcycle, paid his bills and was around when ever any of us needed him. We enjoyed his company and would sit out with us in the summer to have a beer or two. Always polite and yet opinionated as anyone could be. He fixed things for us and would help with anything we needed. Its hearbreaking to see where is he at this moment. I believe his "issue" started about a year ago when he said that the television spoke to him and told him that he had done something terribly wrong. At that time my mother was very ill he thought he should go and see her one last time incase something bad was going to happen to him or if he was going to jail, so he went to see her and ended up moving in with her and her boyfriend and he helped them and took care of her and was not working from like March until August when my mom was tired of fighting her illness and was put into hospice with days left to live. We spent a week in there with her and he was the head of everything with mom decisions and all, (he is the oldest of 7 children) She died and he continued to stay at the house with her boyfriend and didnt get back to work in that time he lost his bike and his truck. the property on waller road was my mothers and she gave it to him a couple years ago...then he started getting worse...the tv was saying more to him and he believe his privacy was invaded. Thought it was my mothers boyfriend and also possibly friends of him and set him up and he was being watched 24/7 by camera and voice survalience He began his search to see why everything was happening now that our mother was gone and it just kinda snowballed. I know he probably would not have hurt anyone. Just wanted to annoy them so that if they knew something they would come forward. Its hard to explain it all when I dont explain it my self. So, I just wanted to say he is not a freak or a pervert or anything of the such, just someone who has lost thier way and hopefully with his time in jail the system will see that he needs medical/mental help and he will get the help he needs. Sorry my punctuation is perfect as im sure some bloggers will complain. Im not some low life who cant type Im actually a pretty good citizen...just dont feel like making this all pretty for you, you will still understand what i type just as it is. To every one George has bothered or annoyed I do apologize, especially to you Joe. I know I cant do anything to change it. @ MR. CANNON this is one of George's other sister's and we have tried to have him committed. So please once again THINK BEFORE SPEAKING. It must be so nice to really believe that your life is so perfect that you can go off and judge other's from a distance without knowing the facts. So for your Info The Hospital's PRMC are the one's not doing there job's in releasing him within an hour of having him there each time. My sister lost time from work going to the court's to file petition's to have him evaluated, it's not our fault if they decide not to keep them to me I think they should get some better doctor's because they obviously don't give a Shi*. There was also one filed in Dorchester County in hope's that a different hospital would see how much he needed the help. You are intitled to your own opinion yet for you to still act childesh about something you have no clue about other than being bothered by him. As my sister stated previously he is one hell of a man and he would have done anything in the world for anyone if they asked him to. He has many time's gone without something so that we could have as well as complete strangers. We might get pissed with him and hurt by some of the things he has done yet we look past it all and realize that deep down he's just asking for help. So excuse the he!! out of me if you can't stand your perfect life with just a little disruption in it. It must be so Dam* nice to have a life so freaking perfect. This man worked for everything he had and it's when he needed to ask for help that he started going down hill. I went over there today and cleaned up what I could of it without his key's I can't move his Jeep sitting in the front yard and since I have no one to watch my kids I couldn't stay out there for hour's on end getting it all. Think of it in terms of what if it was one of your family member's that got mentally ill, would you want people judging and dismissing them not knowing what lead to it? I seriously doubt it but then again if your so ticked off with the disruption in your life that my brother has caused you would probably end up disowning them. It's whatever but I tell you one thing if your a christin or religious believer then don't the bible say to forgive, not to judge all that mumbo jumbo? If so I think you should put in a couple extra services. This is outrages how many people frown upon someone that needs help. I think he was more upset over the fact that is was so close to the school. I have asked him not to post anymore comments regarding this man. It is easy for us (my sisters and I) to say that oh its not that bad of a situation cause its george and we know he wouldnt hurt anyone BUT unless you know george what are you supposed to think??? Some crazy a** has put a bomb at the bank and now my kids are stuck in the area...believe me i would be flipping out...so to my sister....calm down lol imagine if the situation was the same except you didnt know george...and to mr and mrs cannon....we too were quick to judge that you all were just being jerks...and for that we apologize. I do believe at his bond review the bond was not dropped. Its still $500,000 and his court date is on april 29th I believe. From what they told my sister when he goes to court they judge will take everything into consideration and more than likey send him to a state facility to get the help he is so needing. Thanks to those who prayed and thought about us and wished us well. Hopefully it will all turn out ok this time :-)
