Not a speed camera but did get one from a red light camera, was making a u-turn on yellow and the light turned red in the middle.

If you are the type who runs red light, then smear a little dirt on your tag, or cover it with plex glass, this will reflect the light.

I received a $90 fine for going thru a red light in downtown DC looking for the zoo. Didn't even know I did it till I got the fine with 3 pics of my car in the mail a few weeks later.

Got a ticket in the mail showing my tag on a 2001 Corvette. I do not own a Corvette. Sent a picture of my car with my tag. Told them I would pay the ticket if they brought me the car in their picture. Have not heard a word since.

Fruitland has a Mazda Tribute outfitted with a camera in the passenger seat that they move from spot to spot taking photos of speeders. It has an Illinois tag.

I wonder what the picture would look like of the brick just about to go through the window of the Mazda?

Yes. College Ave and Rt 13. I beat the ticket and the camera has since been removed.

I think photo radar is great. I would rather the officers be out locking up people for serious crime than having to run radar because our idiotic society has become so brazen with aggressive driving. BTW, no, never received a ticket due to photo anything.

Yes, but my daughter was driving the car. She paid them. Montgomery County somewhere on some back road.

no, but i've almost been rear ended because i stopped for yellows. at least 5 times in baltimore. one person got out and threatened me for not running the light.
these red light cameras are dangerous. and have really helped chiropractors with all the whip lash from rear end crashes.

Yep in DC. We never drive in DC, got lost trying to get to 295 from another road (60?) and got a $100 in the mail with pictures of our van. If it wasn't paid within 30 days of the date, it was another $100 on top of that!!!

no, because i have a truck like knight rider, i can just hit a button in the cab and the tag will switch its numbers,,,,,,,,,,,

I've seen that vehicle on Main St. Fruitland. I don't see how they can issue you a speeding ticket from an out of state civilian vehicle??? What gives them that kind of "authority?"

Yes, in Seaford a year ago. Red light camera. Never had a ticket before and this taught me a valuable lesson to the tune of $125.00.

It depends if the brick is speeding or not.

Yup - got a ticket in DC, but guess what? I wasn't even in DC. Got a citation in the mail with my information and pictures of someone else's car. The key-puncher at the DMV transposed the numbers of the tag and sent me the ticket. It was sheer hell to get them to rescind the ticket, even though the damn ticket itself said my car is a silve Nissan (from DMV registration records) and the picture was of a black HONDA!
