Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Press Release

On March 22, 2010, the Worcester County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence in the Newark Maryland area for a reported burglary. Upon arrival, Deputies learned that a residence had been burglarized and computer equipment had been removed from the residence. Deputies conducted an investigation and located and arrested a suspect. The suspect, Richard Rusch age 18 yr of Newark, Maryland was charged with conspiracy to commit theft and burglary. Mr. Rusch was taken to the commissioner and held on a $25,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing.

On March 21, 2010, the Worcester County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence on Tindley Rd, Newark, Maryland for a reported assault. Upon arrival, Deputies were able to determine that an Assault had taken place. Deputies arrested Vannie Bolling age 54 of Newark Md. for two counts of assault. Mr. Bolling was taken to the commissioner and held on $5,000.00 bond.
