SALISBURY TO HOST FIRST EVER COMPETITIVE BODYBUILDING BENEFIT EVENT

Event Will Honor Memory of Local Body Builder Justin McJilton

Funds Raised to benefit Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation

SALISBURY, MD
— On March 27, 2010, the first ever benefit bodybuilding event under the auspices of the Organization of Competitive Bodybuilders (OCB) will be held in Salisbury, Maryland at Parkside High School Auditorium. The OCB: Compete For a Cure McJilton Classic will be held in honor and memory of competitive bodybuilder Justin McJilton. McJilton, who trained locally at Olympia Fitness Club, died of complications from leukemia on October 10, 2009.

“Justin was a friend and an inspiration in our local bodybuilding community,” said Julie Mason of Olympia Fitness Club. “Throughout his battle with cancer, Justin never wavered in his commitment to being physically ready for competition and, at the same time, kept his incredible commitment to helping children with cancer. Justin lived his life as an example of what it means to be a true competitor. We hope this event will honor him as much as he deserves.”

The OCB: Compete For a Cure McJilton Classic will feature three competitive divisions in men’s and women’s bodybuilding - Novice, Open, and ages 40+ for men and ages 35+ for women. For the figure competitions the divisions will be Novice, Open, and 35+. The McJilton Classic will also feature a Masters Division that is open to competitors 40 and over and an Open Division that is open to anyone regardless of age or level of experience.
