Just for clarity, The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee and Board of Directors has discussed the issue of the location of a new library, but have not yet reached a consensus on any location within or outside of the downtown area.

Thanks for clearing that issue up. I was disappointed when I read my Chamber had taken a stand on this issue. I'm glad the Chamber has not.
This is why issues become so political when you have the Greater Salisbury Committee & Urban Salisbury chimming in. Let the elected officials deal with this.
I know, I know...You are all "good" business men and women and mean well but most of you have your own special interest in mind.
The GSC is an elite group and most of the time they don't even agree with their membership. A membership you pay lots of $$'s to be a part of so you can feel like you are doing something for Salisbury.
Someone tell me what the GSC & Urban Salisbury has done for us lately!!!!
For the last time, we don't need a new library! (It's "COUNTY", anyway.)
