The teacher graded it and the child brought it home.
She returned to school the next day with the following note:
Dear Ms. Davis,
I want to be perfectly clear on my child's homework illustration.
It is NOT of me on a dance pole on a stage in a strip joint surrounded by male customers with money.
I work at Home Depot and had commented to my daughter how much money we made in the recent snowstorm. This drawing is of me selling a shovel.

That is too cute When I seen the picture at first I'm like OMG until I read the article under it and seen where it said it was a picture of selling a shovel then I could tell it was a shovel. LMAO

haha! I love it! I had the same experience when my oldest daughter was in first grade. They were asked to make a poster of what they wanted to be when they grew up. My daughter wrote that she wanted to own a massage parlor. The poster's were placed on the hallway wall for all the parent's to see on open house night along with the child's picture. I got some really funny looks from the teacher and the other parents on open house night as we giggled.
Luckily, the tone of the profession has changed since she is a massage therapist and an RN now. She had the vision to know exactly what she wanted to be.
