Amber Alert Hoax
Date and Time:
Monday January 11, 2010
3:35 P.M.
Resume:
State Police and local law enforcement have been receiving numerous calls throughout the day concerning an Amber Alert involving a 3-year-old boy abducted by a man. The alert is being circulated via cell phone texts. The text indicates the vehicle being sought is a 2006 Mitubishi displaying a registration 98B351. The abduction is alleged to have occurred at 7:45 am.
No Amber Alert has been issued at this time and it appears that this is a hoax. No action should be taken by any citizen seeing a vehicle matching this description of the aforementioned text.
Anyone having any questions or concerns about the hoax should contact the Delaware State Police Public Information Office at 302-672-5352

If they could track down the person originating this hoax, they should be prosecuted.
If the tag is real, this might be a harrassment case.
I agree with 3:45 and 3:50.
