Partial Crossover Closure To Be Implemented At Route 113 And Arrow Safety Road

Georgetown -- The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that it will implement a partial median crossover closure at US 113 and Arrow Safety Road in Georgetown, weather permitting, effective December 16, 2009, by installing signing, making striping modifications and placing flexi-post tubular markers in the crossover.

The median will be closed to all movements except for the northbound left-turn movement onto US 113 southbound into the car dealership. This partial closure is being done to improve the safety of this intersection.

Southbound traffic will no longer be able to turn left off of US 113 onto Arrow Safety Road, and will now need to travel south to Shortly Road to the next crossover to make a u-turn.
