The county can do much - much better. I attended the council meeting when the budget amendment was proposed to the county council. It was nothing but a "dog and pony" show. Actions should have been taken a year ago to prepare for today's revenue decline. Any good business man would have seen to that.
And why is the County Council not holding up their end of this government ---- they are responsible for the "checks and balances" of the Exec Branch. Inquiring minds want to know!

I guess 50% isn't bad we didn't get the county executive pick right but there is always next time.
Kudo's to Sheriff Lewis and his lovely wife. As for Pollitt...try harder for the people who elected you.
Politics as usual !
They say, "Behind every successful man there's a good woman." AMEN - NUFF SAID.
Keep on ROCKING SHERIFF! YOU DA MAN!
I want my vote back -- guess which one!
The worst was yet to come, but it's happened!
Say what you want about Pollitt, who ain't perfect, but good lord, we could have Ron Alessi, who would have been a much bigger disaster, imho!
Pollitt is doing a good job. This budget does not leave much to work with. And they saved over 150,000.00 working on the electric contracts.

True, Alessi (RINO Ron) would have been a disaster, but how about John Cannon next time around?
You see Sheriff Lewis everywhere. Never see him with out a smile. I feel ashamed to work at SPD
