While the details are not quite in yet, there was a stabbing in West Salisbury in the County. From what we've come to learn so far it was a Father/Son altercation. The victim will be OK. More to come......

Was this near the old mental health clinic on Rt.50 near the American Legion and Armoury? There were several police cars and crime scene tape there early this morning.

does anyone know the outcome of gun shots that were heard friday evening near parkside apts. 3 shots were heard around 11pm and police were there by 1114pm..nothing was ever reported...???
Well since this is in the county, we should call for the Sheriff to be fired. It has to be his fault!
1:03 Since his is in the county you can bet your ass the deputies of Wicomico County will have this under wraps in no time flat, unlike all the stabbings, shootings, muggings and murders that take place in Webster's jurisdiction.
Was that on Rt. 50 this morning, right before the the Nanticoke Rd. stop light? If so there were NO Wic. Co. Deputies at that location, however there were State boys on the sceen!
SPD needs to merge with WCSO and have 1 leader, LEWIS. Can you amagine the budget they would get per year? Talk about the crime rate drop and I believe Salisbury would bounce back in the respect of other police departments eyes. Now, you get eyes rolled and pssst when you tell someone from another pd that you are a SPD officer. SAD
The county and the city are out of their league they need help ASK FOR IT !
