Gangs

Joe,

A neighbor of mine pointed out something that is absolutely the truth. We have a "gang" problem in Salisbury and the members are Gary Comegys, Louise Smith and Shanie Shields. Their negative and fiscally irresonsible attitudes on important Council votes has done more to lead to the deterioration of this city than anything else. As soon as we eradicate the "gangs", this city may start showing some improvement. Thanks for your time.

Police needs to be beefed up. Hire a chief that is paid what he wants and give him 90 days probation period to get results. If Webstrer is not getting results let him go. This gang stuff will get worse, a lot worse, if we don't act now. We need a gang task force, vice squad. Let's spend tax dollars on that instead of on some schmo's derilict vacant lot that we don't need to own (property by the river). Some parts of Salisbury are now scarey to drive through even during the daylight hours. My doors are always locked when I ride through the route 13 and Isabella/Elizabeth area. What is up with that part of town now with all the closed businesses and people hanging around at all hours of the day and night.

And another thing....police should give out jay walking tickets for people not using the cross walk to cross from the bus stop over to the Royal Farms store on
Route 13. I know if someone gets struck it is their own fault.. but think of the poor person that stricks them... they will feel terrible. The people from the bus stop dart in and out of traffic, stop traffic, and just make people nervous when they walk out into the street crossing four lanes...And there is a crosswalk not 50 feet away.

I know I was off the topic of the council being the gang but nothing we can do there except speak with our votes come elction time. And this time vote for what they can do and not for who they are.....i.e. Barrack Obama. 'nuff said.

You can add another member to that gang, JIM IRETON. He is now in bed with those 3 simply because he is a weakling and can't make a decision on his own. He is a sissy and nothing more than an office girl. He should be ashamed of himself for wasting our time, money and efforts into getting him elected.

Webster had 10 years of probation to get results. Enough.

Ireton played by the rules he was handed. Now that they aren't working to Barrie suck-ups' favor, they are whining.

Take on the Gang of Three and start tonight!

You forgot some other gang members--Lore Chambers, JOhn Pick, Pam Oland and Paul Wilbur. Until these self serving leeches are gone Salisbury will continue to suffer.

I saw their gang sign spray painted on a wall down at the park. It looked like a big middle finger

In November of 1989 I went to a meeting at WiHi hosted by Chief Dykes, Hunter Nelmes and State Atttorney General Baglio. They talked about Gangs here in Salisbury then. About 50 of us went to meeting.

I have a daughter that goes to Mardela, she came home last week and asked me what "NAPS" mean. Well I told her that I didn't know. Is this a gang name? She told me that these boys write it on the board when the teacher leaves the room!
