Joe--This may or may not be off the subject but did you mention this week the news about the Empire State building being lit up (in red and yellow colors) to celebrate China's anniversary of communism? I might have missed it on your blog but it seems as if this news just shows how tolerant we are becoming of a communistic society led by you-know-who!
Again this is an unfair headline. The same people who two days ago were moaning about him going are now moaning about him failing. Truth is, these bids are started years in advance. 12:04....the real point is that Obama's priorities are totally out of whack when he can jet off with Oprah on a sales job for one city and spend time on a responsibility that should be attended to by that City's Mayor but cannot find the time to talk to or our top general in Afghanistan or evaluate his war recommendations.

Imagin how many people that money could have put to work for a year. Imagine home many families could have caught their back mortgage payments up. Who can possibly be surprised? His attitude and perspective is so terribly disjointed the whole world sees it. He says Chicago represents the American dream - aren't they the city with a higher crime rate than Salisbury; not my dream. He masterminds a takeover of the auto industry; the only company to elude his grasp - Ford - is the one that had the least disastrous September of all manufacturers.
Everything about Braack's Presidency has been a total disaster.
He also has a few buddies that sit on the Chicago Olympic committee that would of gotten the contracts to build the Olympic Village. Its all greed, its all greed.

Now they will build WALLS to keep the regular people seperated from the Olympic people. You walk some blocks away from the tourist area and you can get robbed or killed there quick. It would be interesting to see the Olympic comittees bank accounts in the next few days, they are smart enough to wash it first.
Now the Republicans blame Obama for not getting Olympics here.

You all will jump on anything you can to complain about. If he had somehow managed to bring the Olympics here, do you know how much money could have been made during that time. It didn't happen and I'm sure he is not going to waste time crying about it. I cannot say the same thing about you bunch of blow holes. Do you all even know anything about Chicago? Much like DC it has areas of bad crime but most of it is beautiful and safe.
Thank God, although 1.5 mil went for the trip at Taxpayers expense, but what about the construction at taxpayers expense? At least the world has their priorities straight. I'm Glad Rio got it, they deserved it.
