NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES & CODE COMPLIANCE


The City of Salisbury, Department of Neighborhood Services & Code Compliance, along with
Mayor James P. Ireton, Jr., will be hosting a press conference on Monday, October 5, 2009 at
12:30 pm to advise the public regarding the city’s efforts to remove an abandoned vessel (barge)
which is partially submerged at the head of the north prong.

The press conference will take place at the City of Salisbury Public Works, Utilities Division
facility which is located at 404 W. Isabella Street, Salisbury, MD.

Both the media and public are invited to attend. If you have any questions, please contact

should'nt be hard to fgure out who sank the barge just go back to property owners and previous owners or leasees that used barges its not like lots of businesses use barges.Hint Hint Black dog stone

Will the city have a crane there to lift the barge out of the water? Take it to the scrap yard and re coup some $$.

just another dog n pony show. the barge has been there for a long time. has anyone contacted natural resource police about this. the river is under their control.
