Mayor James Ireton, Jr. announces and the Salisbury City Council would like to invite all residents in the Church Street/Doverdale CSAFE area to the next CSAFE Neighborhood Safety Team meeting. The meeting will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at 5:30 p.m. at Parkway Church of God, 600 Edison Street, Salisbury.

It's bring you own weapon night
You may have 4-5 citizens show up. Most of the others are those required to be there by the nature of the organization. Nothing positive comes out of these meetings. If it did, the crime would be down in the area but its worse than its ever been. Just another liberal feelgood program. Most of these entities are self perpetuating, hence the need to actually have meetings before renewing the grant for future funding. If you want a good meeting, get out and pick up the trash in the neighborhood, paint the buildings, and arrest the thugs with outstanding warrants while you are walking down the road singing Kumbya My Lord, Kum by yaaaa........lol
