On Page 425 of Obama's health care bill, the Federal Government will require EVERYONE who is on Social Security to undergo a counseling session every 5 years with the objective being that they will explain to them just how to end their own life earlier. Yes...They are going to push SUICIDE to cut medicare spending!!! And no, I am NOT kidding YOU! So those of you who voted for Obama have now put your own parents in dire straights...Congratulations!

I'm not sure they'll push suicide, but the plan is to NOT offer life saving procedures for the elderly because of the cost/benefit. This was all explained before, but you had posters who said "granny is not going to be euthanized". Well, in an indirect way she will be. The 75 year old with a heart condition is going to be told to go home and die, rather than an expensive procedure, on the theory that he/she has already outlived the actuarial tables and thus, it would not be beneficial to extend their life. Thanks you liberal posers for putting us in this precarious situation. you assholes

Four years ago, I went through this with my mother. Her own doctor didn't know what her wishes were. I had one set of doctors ordering one thing and him doing another. It made my life and hers a living hell. I'll know better what to do when my father goes.

My mother i law had open heart surgery at age 85. she had diabeties also. She had the operation, accross the bridge, and came home one week later in regular transportation. she lived a good 10 years after this. So be careful who you listen to on "giving up". The hospital her in salisbury gave up but the Washington Heart Center said the operation was a piece of cake! Dont ever give up!

stories with regards to goverment
run health. You are placed on a list in many cases for treatment and in many cases could be on it for years. Thats is why the wealthier Canadians and people from the UK come here for medical procedures. We need a say in this!
There are doctors in this town right now at our local hospital and a local nursing home who encourage families to let their loved ones die. I have had personal experience with this type situation. It is nothing new. The victims did not have a chance at all to any type "counseling session". It was too late. The doctors had already started the process of eliminating care. Wake up people and pay attention to the "health care" you think you have now.

People simply don't read much. The United Nations has a public policy of endorsing eugenics and population control principles like abortion. The World Health Organization is a eugenics construct. Our military is using DU (depleted uranium) daily, and so does Israel (a war crime). Israel uses white phosphorus on people (a war crime).
More importantly, we may soon be REQUIRED to accept a jab of swine flu vaccine which has been untested. The corporations who make the vaccines have all been granted immunity from damages caused by their vaccines. We are going to force vaccinate people for profit - without any risk of tort responsibility!
The health care bill includes all of these eugenics provisions.

You all are missing the point. Yes now we have choices to end our life or not. After Obama pushes his health care reform that nobody wants. The choices will be gone. The government will control who gets the treatments and who doesn't.
Mostly based on how old you are. Your grandfather needs a heart operation or he will die. Government says he is too old we need to save that space for someone younger after all your grandfather is old and will soon die anyway. Like it or not that is the way it will work. That is the savings Obama is talking about.
If the state run health plans were run by people who knew what they were doing, they could cover more people. I know of offices that do unnecessary xrays beacuse MA pays for them! Guess what...MA never questions the need for these xrays...they just pay. The money is not managed correctly and so fewer people are eligible for coverage (because the money isn't there). I like my private health insurance just fine. Obama needs to get his head out of the clouds and use some common sense.
