Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 13 August 2009
Location: 4800 block of Goose Creek Dr., Salisbury, MD
Suspect:
1. Terry L. Ward, 52, Salisbury, MD
2. Christopher M. Ward, 26, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 13 August 2009
at 3:53 AM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to investigate an altercation inside a residence in the 4800 block of Goose Creek Drive in Salisbury. Upon the arrival of the deputy, it was discovered that Terry Ward became involved in a physical altercation with his son, Christopher Ward. Injuries consistent with the altercation were observed on both subjects.

The deputy placed both Terry and Christopher Ward under arrest and transported them to the Central Booking Unit where they were processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Terry Ward was detained in the Detention Center by the Commissioner in lieu of $3,000.00 bond while Christopher Ward was released on Personal Recognizance.

1. Christine N. Johnson, 41, Millsboro, DE
2. Nikita M. Tindley, 22, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 13 August 2009
at 10:52 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to investigate a reported fight inside a residence in the 800 block of Cornish Street in Salisbury. Upon the arrival of the deputy, it was discovered that the resident, Nikita M. Tindley, had been involved in a physical altercation with Christine Johnson. Both Tindley and Johnson had signs of injury that were consistent with the allegation of a mutual physical altercation. The deputy also discovered that Johnson and Tindley were mother and daughter.

The deputy arrested both Johnson and Tindley and transported them to the Central Booking Unit where they were processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Johnson was detained by the Commissioner in the Detention Center in lieu of $3,000.00 bond. Tindley was released by the Commissioner on Personal Recognizance

Incident: Possession of Heroin
Date of Incident: 15 August 2009
Location: Salisbury Blvd at Centre Road, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Jason E. Corley, 28, Laurel, DE

Narrative: On 15 August 2009
at 4:35 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle operated by Jason E. Corley of Laurel, DE for a seat belt violation. Upon contacting the operator, the deputy observed that Corley was visibly nervous. A check on the status of Corley’s Delaware driver’s license revealed that Corley’s license was suspended. While the deputy issued a citation to Corley, a Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office Drug K9 team arrived and conducted a scan of the Corley’s vehicle for the presence of the odor of illegal drugs, during which the K9 alerted positively to that presence. Based on the alert, the deputy began a search of the vehicle. During the search, the deputy located a sock behind the front seat that contained two syringes, a cooking spoon, two glass cocaine smoking pipes, a metal push rod and a package of heroin.

Corley was placed under arrest and transported to the Sheriff’s Office where additional contraband was found in his socks that Corley was wearing. Found were several pills, identified as Xanax, and Suboxone. Corley was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Corley was detained in the Detention Center by the Commissioner in lieu of $25,000.00 bond.

We as a nation have got to get control over all these pills being injected into our society, its out of control. Trust me on this.
