Health Care In England

President Obama wants to provide you a national healthcare system very similar to that in Great Britain. After all, the World Health Organization (of the United Nations) rates their system above yours. Aren't you curious to see what the British write about their own medical care. The links below will expose you to some articles that have appeared in the British Broadcasting Company, Great Britain's primary news organization.

Correction. Medicare is not an example of what is to come if we have a government healthcare system. The problem is that too many people, like the one who commented above, are unable to discern the difference. Here is the difference (read carefully, those of you who cannot discern):

Medicare works well because individuals who utilize that service have the luxury of receiving their healthcare service by PRIVATE physicians in PRIVATE offices and PRIVATE hospitals.

In the government system that Obama and the liberals are proposing, patients in the GOVERNMENT system will receive their care by GOVERNMENT physicians in GOVERNMENT offices and GOVERNMENT HOSPITALS.

If you are unable to figure out why this is so, I will explain it on another day.

Go visit a your local Health Department or Veterans Administration hospital to see what is waiting for you.

"And England is ranked above the US in the world in health." Whoever wrote this statement is sadly uninformed. There is no ranking "in the world in health." The ranking I mentioned above in the opening statement comes from the World Health Organization, which is an offspring of the United Nations, which uses flawed methodology to determine their rankings. For instance, one of the criteria they use is life expectancy, which in the U.S. is lower than it is in many other nations due to the social issues that plague this nation: drug wars, gun violence, motor vehicle accidence, etc.

Also, we Americans should realize that the United Nations is calling for the end of capitalism, the economic system that has made us the envy of the world but which also made American Medicine (in contrast to the American Health Insurance Industry) the best in the world. I could educate you all night but I am tired. Bye.

"Learn how to spell 'cataract' before you criticize." I would bet this comment came from a simple liberal, unable to discuss the topic logically but instead programmed to resort to pettiness. How sad.

Baloney. Show me where you found these facts.
