INDIANAPOLIS - Costs for employer-provided health plans are expected to rise more than 10 percent within the next 12 months, a jump workers may feel in their paychecks or through changes to their insurance coverage.
An aging population, rising costs and growing patient demand for services are among the reasons for the higher costs cited in an Aon Consulting report released Tuesday.
Aon Consulting, a subsidiary of Chicago-based Aon Corp., surveyed about 60 health insurers around the country earlier this year. The study found that, on average, insurers expect to pay out 10.5 percent more in claims costs in the next year — slightly less than the 10.6 percent increase forecast last year.

anyone who didnt know this was coming for the last 20 years has not been paying attention.
this is nothing new.
It's all in the plan to guide us into saying "Okay, I guess it's time we try the Government Plan".

You guys blame everything on Obama. If you were the least bit intelligent you would realize this is exactly what he is attempting to change.
11:47am-It's his plan, who else can we blame it on? He's not fixing anything, he's only changing the gov't role in it to be more expansive and intrusive. If you were any bit intelligent you would be against anything the gov't tries to takeover. Obama is not necessarily the problem but it's his bill, he owns it and doesn't know what's in it. Gov't is the problem and look at Medicare and Medicaid as examples of costs exceeding gov't budgets and gov't inefficiency. Look at Freddie and Fannie as examples of gov't corruption -Dodd, Frank- and cronyism.
