Chris Brown Sentenced For Beating Rihanna
Singer Must Serve 5 Years of Probation, Perform 6 Months of Community Labor for Assaulting Pop Star
A judge on Tuesday sentenced Chris Brown to five years' probation and six months' community labor for the beating of Rihanna and issued a stern admonition to the R&B singer.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg told Brown that he could be sent to state prison if he violated any terms of his sentence, including an order to stay away from Rihanna for the next five years.
Brown will serve his sentence in his home state — Virginia — and his community labor will be overseen by the chief of police in Richmond.
The judge said she wanted to ensure that Brown, 20, performs physical labor instead of community service, such as mentoring young people.
Rihanna did not attend Tuesday's sentencing.

Hold out your hand and let the judge smack it. He should have to do some real time to set an example. All they have done is say it is ok for this type of behavior because the court system will not punish you for it.
Successful Gen-Poppers eventually get gobbled up by the Monster. I think they used to say back in the day, "If you give a man enough rope" well you know the rest of the story. (You people dont know the pressure that 65 million come with)... Cry me a River MTH-FKR.
She should've put her "Take a Bow" video into action.
It's the middle of Summer....why is Katie wearing a turtleneck?
This seriously bothers me!!!
Not to make fun of battered women but isnt it ironic that Rihanna does ads for Cover Girl makeup?Guess their products are real good at concealing those black eyes and other bruises.Nice to know if you are famous you can beat up your girlfriend and skate away on it.
Without his singing career,Chris Brown would be another unemployed violent guy on the local court dockets.
In Delaware, he would get the book thrown at him.
