Elected officials aren't the only ones facing frustrated, angry crowds at health care town hall meetings.
The senior advocacy group AARP is now being severely criticized by its own members for supporting President Obama's health care reform plans. Obama has agreed to have AARP administer his plan. We have learned that AARP stands to make billions at the expense of betraying the Seniors it purports to be an advocate for.
The internal debate is heating up as lawmakers prepare to enter what could be the final stretch in writing legislation, with just one committee left to vote on it.
But just as constituents are giving their elected representatives a piece of their mind over the August recess, many, many seniors are protesting the AARP.
Duplicitous and self serving AARP gets its Just deserts.
Last week, pusillanimous AARP officials, speaking at a forum in Dallas, walked out of the meeting when several seniors challenged them with strong comments and asked critical questions.
AARP members say they are so outraged that they've taken to tearing up their membership cards and firing off heated letters to the organization's CEO.
AARP has betrayed Senior Citizens for the sake of profits as it sells out to President Obama for the sake of lucrative contracts over Health Care...

The AARP members will all keep their cards as long as they get a discount on something. It is all they really care about.
This is a red herring. The AARP members outcry is from a few uninformed blue haired. Honestly these people buying the anti anything Obama look rediculiously stupid and ignorant of the facts.

I had just renewed for a five year membership and called them and told them to shove it. You Obamabots are the ones that are uniformed.
FIrst it was the blacks then the moderates, then it was the RINOS, then it was the Hispanics, then it was the Colin Powell's now it's the old folks.
