545 vs 300,000,000

EVERY CITIZEN NEEDS TO READ THIS AND THINK ABOUT WHAT THIS JOURNALIST HAS SCRIPTED IN THIS MESSAGE. READ IT AND THEN REALLY THINK ABOUT OUR CURRENT POLITICAL DEBACLE.

Charley Reese has been a journalist for 49 years.

545 PEOPLE
By Charlie Reese

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason.. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.
What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

TheConstitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red ..

If the Army &Marines are in IRAQ, it's because they want them in IRAQ

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.

Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

What you do with this article now that you have read it.......... Is up to you.

This might be funny if it weren't so darned true.
Be sure to read all the way to the end:

Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table
At which he's fed.

Tax his tractor,
Tax his mule,
Teach him taxes

Tries to think.

Tax his cigars,
Tax his beers,
If he cries
Tax his tears.

Tax his car,
Tax his gas,
Find other ways
To tax his ass.

Tax all he has
Then let him know
That you won't be done
Till he has no dough.

When he screams and hollers;
Then tax him some more,
Tax him till
He's good and sore.
Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in
Which he's laid.

Put these words
Upon his tomb,
Taxes drove me
to my doom...'

When he's gone,
Do not relax,
Its time to apply

STILL THINK THIS IS FUNNY? Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, and our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.
What in the hell happened? Can you spell 'politicians?'
And I still have to 'press 1' for English!?

I hope this goes around THE USA at least 100 times!!! YOU can help it get there!!!

GO AHEAD - - - BE AN AMERICAN!!!

EDITORS NOTE: To those of you who still believe you're in a 33 1/3 tax bracket, keep going back to the TAXES listed above and you'll quickly learn that MOST Americans are in a 80% tax bracket. This is exactly why most Americans have next to nothing for savings in the Bank.

This isn't the America we grew up to believe in, the land of the free. There's absolutely NO WAY to live the American Dream, unless you hit the lottery and they'll tax you BIG on that too.

Future generations will simply work for an organization that will control pretty much everything you earn and they'll do what for you, NOTHING. That organization is called the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. You can easily make more money in Canada!

Pretty soon we'll be seeing commercials showing pride in our military, God Bless America will be the theme song in the background, yet there will be no words, just music because they're too afraid to say "GOD."

Violence is the only way to stop this goverment from destroying our country. You all can keep believing that words & votes matter if you want, I dont believe that anymore. I think we are on the verge of states breaking away from the union, may your God help us then.

And all those taxes goe to pay the lazy incompetent good for nothing chunks of fat that work for and in the government, else these people couldn't get a job in the real world.
It will stop soon though, they are running out of people that actualy work and generate wealth to be taxed. Just look at California, Illinois, New York, and a whole host of other states that are going broke with the highest tax rates in the country.
Sooner or later it will all stop. You can't keep taxing those who work to pay for the ever growing population of those that CHOOSE to sit home and collect.
Socialism has failed everywhere in the WORLD where it has been tried.

What you will have is a series of heavily guarded walled elitist enclaves were the rich polititions live, and the rest in 1880s level living conditions. Armed thugs sent out will ensure no uprising will be allowed. Rape, looting, pillageing will be the life we on the outside live under. Our nation is a dead corpse already. The vultures have arrived and are feeding on us.
Sadly, the only way to put a stop to this, is a violent assault that will leave our country in even worse ruins. Poverty and peasant slavery for all that do not fall under the catagory of liberal elite.

You know, liberals were pretty despondent over the last 8 years. We thought our country was adrift, our government was violating the very rights laid out by the Constitution and we bemoaned a president many of us thought should be impeached.

But did we call for violence to take back our country? No. We did what Republicans did for the previous 20 years - we put our energy, anger and time into getting Republicans voted out of office and replaced with Democrats who shared at least most of our views.

And it worked. We have a Democratic majority in the Congress and finally a Democratic president. I think that's a great thing. Many of you do not.

So my question to you is, "What are you going to do about it?"

Are you going to bemoan how you lost "your" America, and listen to these calls for violence and extremism?

Ir you going to do things the American way, work hard, and get people elected who share your beliefs? That's what Republicans did from 1980-2005.

It's easy to call for armed revolution. The actual work of democracy is a lot harder. But the results help us all.

Two societies spreading farther apart each minute. I dont want to hurt anyone, but I would give them a choice. What they choose to do with it would be up to them. All any of us hard working Americans wanted was a fighting chance, no hand-outs, no bail-outs, just a fighting chance. If you boil water long enough you will get steam, steam burns real bad.

I don't think you got the message.

It doesn't matter if these 545 elected officials are conservative or liberals. Both parties are fully responsible for the mess our nation is currently in. That is exactly why they don't want a third party. . .because they want to maintain their status quo.

The constitution was suppose to enable us 'WE THE PEOPLE' to take back control of our nation if tyranny exists. I'm totally convinced by any stretch of the imagination that our government can easily be classified as 'TYRANNY' in that it now has total control over all aspects of our people.

Some say that revolution won't resolve anything . . .and that may be true. But I can tell you for certain. . . our nation is not what was established by our original forefathers. How long will it continue? I don't know but I don't believe our government - as you presently recognize it - is going to last much longer. Things are so out of kilter that anything can happen. It could by hyper inflation, it could be illegal immigrant uprisings, domestic uprisings, invasion by a foreign country, earthquake, famine, you name it we are now very vulnerable. Not necessarily from a foreign rival but even from within.

One thing for sure is that we need term limits in Congress.

you all are idiots. what has changed since January that is different - besides a black man as president? Tell me how your life has become so much worse since Obama was elected? The right needs to get a grip. Inciting violence is not the answer.

I am an American. That's why I'm not forwarding on crap like this to other Americans. We've got enough right-wing BS out there. Hell, we're drowning in it right now. Enough of this crap.

Great article. He touches on the Federal Reserve Bank - private, not federal and there are no reserves.

The Fed is the key. There was no IRS until the Fed began to print our money.
