Major victory for Army warrior questioning Obama's birthplace

A U.S. Army Reserve major from Florida scheduled to report for deployment to Afghanistan within days has had his military orders revoked after arguing he should not be required to serve under a president who has not proven his eligibility for office.
His attorney, Orly Taitz, confirmed to WND the military has rescinded his impending deployment orders.
"We won! We won before we even arrived," she said with excitement.
"It means that the military has nothing to show for Obama. It means that the military has directly responded by saying Obama is illegitimate – and they cannot fight it. Therefore, they are revoking the order!"
She continued, "They just said, 'Order revoked.' No explanation. No reasons – just revoked."
A hearing on the questions raised by Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook, an engineer who told WND he wants to serve his country in Afghanistan, was scheduled for July 16 at 9:30 a.m.
"As an officer in the armed forces of the United States, it is [my] duty to gain clarification on any order we may believe illegal. With that said, if President Obama is found not to be a 'natural-born citizen,' he is not eligible to be commander-in-chief," he told WND only hours after the case was filed.

What this article does not say is that he is being preocessed for decommission and prosecution under the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice). See, he's in a world of sh*t right now. I am a Romanian as this Moldovan attorney woman is. All ills in society is that people hide behind orders when they are against conscience. Nazi was built on blind submission. Communism was built on blind submission.
Romania ended in a bloody revolution, and I was in the streets being part of it.
Conscience is above military la - providing that conscience is sincere. If conscience is not obeyed, you end up with the military killing mothers and children when protesting governments. Killing of civilians following orders.
If you soldier, have your mother in the streets protesting the government, will you fire if ordered?
I am strong supporter of laws. The constitution as is not offensive to conscience and it must be obeyed.

Actually Sgt. I served 10 years. 1125th US Army Hosp., 946th Trans. Co.,& 200th MP Co. As soldiers we are trained to follow all lawful orders. If we question the legallity of an order we may, even a private, request writen verification of the order. This is in fact what Maj. Cook is doing.
Now, my 'interpretation" is not lacking. You stated he swore to protect the "Country", You were wrong.

The Major is trying to weasel his way out of his duty. Servicemembers are not afforded such luxuries. He was given a lawful order from a superior officer and he should have followed it. PERIOD. There is no valid argument. He will be court martialed and deserves what is coming to him.

I was a SGT in the Army Reserves and was mobilized in 2003, sheduled to deploy to Turkey my orders were cancelled in the last moment and I stayed state-side loading beans and bullets to go overseas. I was in the Transportation Corps. I attended ROTC and officers like this Major was one of the reasons I chose to remain NCO.
Whether I agreed or disagreed with war (which I did not) I followed the orders. That's what soldiers do! I would let the politicians sort out the other crap.
I hope that he has enough decency and honor left in him to at least resign his commission. I am sure this Major would not have any problems accepting orders that promote him to LTC or accepting orders sending him to some more desirable location.
In effect when you take that oath you are swearing to defend your country. Your argument is ridiculous and I will no longer entertain it. Find someone else to argue with for arguements sake.

Anon 8:35, McCain was born in panama, you are right on that point, but then again, at the time of his birth, panama was a United States Territory, which means that he was born as a U.S. Citizen! You should go back to school and study Government and read the Constitution in which seals YOUR freedom!
