Why Do I Enjoy Being A Sam's Club Member So Much
Because they know how to take care of their Customers! This photo was taken about an hour ago. Now go down to my Valero Post earlier this morning and look at the price difference! Membership Pays!
To the person I just rejected their comment about only saving one sent per gallon. Try again! Valero was $2.45 per gallon, that's 11 cents per gallon savings, not a penny. Some times I wonder about you people. It must have been Bubba with that Bubba math.
You can save a lot at sams, especially if you shop correctly. thier ability to buy gas in such large bulk, will keep their prices much lower than other gas stations around Salisbury. especially as OPEC wants to keep the price of a barrel of gas on the rise.
Since I go to Walmart every other day I enjoy saving even a penny a gallon! I also don't have to keep looking around. They are almost never higher than anyone else in town.
I have spoken to the Manager at Sam's Club before about their gas prices. They're supposed to be 5 cents cheaper than their surrounding competitors. They are usually 1 to 3 cents cheaper. I have pointed out their failure to be 5 cents cheaper and the false advertising they're doing and they refuse to honor their ad and drop their gas prices to 5 cents cheaper than their surrounding competitors, so I have ceased to not only get gas there, I have stopped shopping at their store as well.
Does 2:15 realize that our great democrat legislature passed a law setting a minimum retail price of gas based on the wholesale price charged? Sam's has forced down the price of gas in the whole area. Just like the food prices in the whole town went down when Walmart started selling food.
After filling up please make sure to stop in ask Sams for a donation to support the non profit you are involved with. If you bang on the managers door loud enough he may stop the money vaccum that is sucking all the cash back to Bentonsville and actually hear you.
I bet they give the least amount back to this community based on a percentage of sales. How about some more blogs on the business that truely support this town? Come on Joe...Snoop some good news!
Exxon out on RT 50 is $2.37 and I get a 15 cent rebate using my Exxon card.
I was up in NJ last friday and even though there is only Full Service in (against the law to pump your own gas) it was $2.37 there as well, which I thought was interesting.
Currently, Opec is increasing oil production. So, "why are gas prices rising?" That seems to be a question for our esteemed newly elected "American-born Christian" President.

I paid $2.35 a gallon at the Shell accross the street from Sams yesterday. That is a penny differance.
Prices were cheaper yesterday, they went up this morning!
There is no Shell across from Sam's....

Chris Lewis, you probably don't even know what the member countries of OPEC are, please don't try to explain economics on any level.
This car is really cheap looking. Do you drive this Joe?
