Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On June 7, 2009 at approximately 3:00 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a residence on Fox Field Circle for the report of a domestic assault. Upon arrival the Officers met with a female victim who had been involved in an argument with the below listed suspect. During the argument the suspect obtained a kitchen knife and cut the tires of the victim’s vehicle.

ARRESTED: William Edward Croswell, III, 31 years of age Willards, Maryland

CHARGES: Malicious Destruction of Property

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900019811

On June 7, 2009 at approximately 2:43 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Hardees Restaurant on N. Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a suspect passing counterfeit U. S. currency. Upon arrival the officers were advised by store employees that the below listed suspect had attempted to purchase food items and pay for the items with a counterfeit fifty (50) dollar bill. The suspect left the business but was located by responding officers.

ARRESTED: James Wesley Tyler, Jr., 22 years of age Parksley, Virginia

CHARGES: Use of counterfeit U.S. Currency

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900019843

On June 7, 2009 at approximately 5:23 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Lowes Store on North Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival the officers were advised that the below listed suspect had taken a radio from the business without making any attempts at making payment.

ARRESTED: Troy Wayne Emore, 29 years of age Seaford, Delaware

CHARGES: Theft (under $ 500)

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900019858

On June 7, 2009 at approximately 9:52 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to a residence on Poplar Hill Avenue for the report of a domestic type assault. Upon arrival the officers met with a victim who advised that the below listed suspect had become involved in an argument with subjects inside of a residence and had threatened the occupants with a knife. The victim was not injured during the assault.

ARRESTED: Jesse Stever Shore, 52 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

First degree assault
Second degree assault
Reckless endangerment
