D-Day

The Daily Times today made no mention of one of the most important days in America's history - June 6, 1944 - D-Day.

For all veterans, I'm sorry the DT didn't feel a D-Day story was important enough to mention. My Grandfather was there that day. Our family has always been proud of him and his service to our country.

I expect nothing of importance to ever be reported accurately or if at all by the "Drive-by Media".

If that is true it is a disgraceful oversight....thank goodness us bloggers can pick up their slack [again}. They really should be ashamed they charge folks for that mess. A salute to our greatest generation!!

Liberals consider the defenders of the country to be guilty of war crimes, including the cutting off of ears, and razing villages in a manner reminiscent of Genghis Khan.

They could at least provided a teaser if they were going to do a story in the Sunday paper..guess not.

What should we expect from liberals....it seems they have always been a little lacking in the patriotism department.

Let us not confuse being "liberal" with just being downright disrespectful...or merely clueless {my money is on the second one}

The real crime is jumping to conclusions without knowing anything about the process of how a story gets into a newspaper. You cranky SOBs need to chill the f out.

OK 2:11...I heard the bell-which one of you jabronis is the referee-cause I am pounding the other dude...

What?? You a little sore you missed an obvious, relevant fargin' story regarding perhaps the most significant historic anniversary of a headline that happened, like what you tremendous idiot, over 60 years ago?????? What??? Didn't have the space because you had a pressing article on how to clip mayonaisse coupons from your own advertising ads???

First off, I refuse to confirm this story because if I haven't already communicated it to you directly {and I bet I have}-I ain't gonna be the sucker to visit your pathetic little 'newspaper' web page just so you can get sponsor advertising hits for that "Unfrozen Algonquin Round Table" that attempts to sell papers thinner than a pack of EZ Widers. And if you are who I think you are-put your fudgin' hands up; because some of us know bloody better than YOU how real newspapers work...c'mon want some more chump!!

The sad thing is that we are losing more of and more of these WW2 vets every year,which means we need to pass on their stories to the generation after ours so that it does not become another footnote in a history book.

BTW...2:11..That's what I thought you had to say...a 'big nothing' AS USUAL..Chump.
