I'm not sure if I like this or not actually. I think it should be a separate link on the page maybe since I access you from work with no problem usually but with the video playing, well.....
I could turn the speaker off, but I need the sound on to do my other functions.

On the homepage will just eat up too many resources. Make a new page... but since you don't have your own real site (ie blogger) then I'm not sure what you're gonna do.
anonymous 4:12, you're wrong. The entire feed comes from an outside source and it's fed into Blogger. It drains absolutely nothing. I'm not a tech guy but our tech people have assured us it won't slow down a thing.
Besides, we'll have a new site up very soon, away from Blogger.

amazing. you are asked about overhead and you tell your folks that this wont affect.
I think you need new tech guys. your stream automatically runs. Flash is a major overhead (memory and cpu), and since you are streaming, there is network overhead. I dont know how you can say that this wont slow down a "thing". you are as clueless as your tech people.
get a job and leave the net to people who know what they are doing.
