Chuck, no matter how hard you try you can't defend the Dems against this one. It's right there in front of you. The way of the liberal is absolutely destroying this country. So bow down to your Savior Obama. Worship your President who refuses to provide evidence of his citizenship. Continue to justify his deeds as they eliminate our freedoms one at a time. Next he will grant immunity to some 30 million illegal aliens who are taking American jobs and bleeding our nation dry. Soon our country will be a full fledged socialist nation thanks to you and people like you. Through it all you will point your finger at conservatives and say that these things are necessary because of the evil that Bush committed.

And by the way there is a bill in Congress to eliminate the term limits on the Presidency so if passed Obama can be your Dictator of this Socialist Country for the next twenty or thirty years.

No. Chuck is correct on this one. The critical step was lack of enforcement of our existing laws and regulations, and the change that allowed banks to decide for themselves how much money they needed to keep on reserve when making loans. This was done by the Bush administration. It was calculated and deliberate.

I don't care how, when, or by whose hand it was deregulated. The fact remains that the Republicans warned that this would happen and the Democrats blocked it. It's right there for everyone to see.

Is Chuck stupid ? Bill Clinton deregulated not Bush when you have to lie to hide the truth maybe your in a bad relationship.
Still blaming Bill Clinton and crediting Ronald Reagan. Sad
After all Clinton road Reaganomics and then took credit for a great economy keep in mind the Congress was Republican majority at the time and Clinton still managed to leave office in a recession. Only to have G.W.B. bring it back to a record breaking economy until the democrats won control of Congress and as they say " They rest is history "
Can't blame Clinton he didn't doing anything for 8 years.
Clinton did deregulate the lending industry and Barney Frank and Chris Dodd looked the other way while they were getting sweet heart deals. It's sad the liberal media gave them a pass that we all have to pay for.
The Fair Housing Act (giving people mortgages that cant afford) along with repealing The Glass Steagall Act (easing regulations between banks and financial industries(which lead to the great depression)) were both signed at the same time by Clinton creating the perfect storm that lead to this crisis.
Do your research! It amazes me that you die hard liberals will refuse to acknowledge this.
