Delaware State Troopers Probe Early Morning Robbery At Dover Convenience Store

Dover – The Delaware State Police are currently investigating an armed robbery of a Shore Stop located at 1491 S. Governors Avenue that occurred this morning at approximately 6:13 am.

Investigators discovered two black males, 18 – 20 yrs of age; 5’10, 140 -150 lbs, wearing black hoodies and blue jeans entered the store and confronted the 37 year old clerk. One suspect armed with a handgun demanded money and cartons of cigarettes. The clerk complied and gave the pair an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.

The suspects fled the store on foot while the clerk called 911. Surveillance video of the incident has been obtained and when photographs of the culprits become available they will be released.
