what in the world is going on with all the crime lately? I know there has always been crime but lately it seems its gotten a lot worse.
anonymous 7:58, Not much has changed. The difference is, Salisbury News exposes all the crime while the rest of the MSM covers it up. You just have a place to go where you caqn see that it's actually happening.

Anyone who thinks there isn't gang activity in Salisbury needs to take off those rose-colored glasses and open their eyes. My own grandson has been a victim of assault by one of these gangs. Just ask any high school student, they know.

This same group robbed the gas station Sunday night at Hobbs and Old Ocean city around 9:00 PM. At that time only two black males pulled this off.

Only an idiot hires an Internal Affairs guy to be chief of police. Everyone knows an IA person is only there to find fault with the guys actually doing the work. Barrie hired him because she knew no one would trust him, he's just like her.

There were probably families and little kids in there eating. That could turn real bad real fast. Salisbury needs more police officers, more equipment and a new Chief. If these thugs are not dealt with some innocent person is going to end up getting killed.
There were no customers in the building when this happened. The SPD were there within 30 seconds of the 911 call. Arby's should consider installing a panic button/silent alarm. It wouldn't prevent it but give the police more time to catch them.

11:29 AM - Just how do you know there was no one in there and how fast the SPD responded? I absolutely hate the supposed news stations in this town (WBOC & WMDT). They tell you nothing and neither does the Daily Times. What do all of us have to do, go buy a scanner? That's what I'm gonna do so at least I know what's going on. All of this crap is happening just a little too close for comfort.

Yeah I heard the hole thing come across my scanner last night. I told my husband something is going on in Salisbury! No one could pay me enough to live in the city limits.
I saw the whole thing anonymous 3:39, as I was at work when it happened. Just to affirm 11:29 there were NO customers there, and the police were on scene while we were still on the phone making the 911 call.

i thought by the intruder on park ave gettin blasted it would have detered these #1 males from at least waiting till next week to rob , rape, or murder another person but i guess not. what good does a camera do when all it can see is black.
does it matter whether its a number 1 2 3 or anything else-male? its not #1 males that are the problem, it is simply the fact that the city police are underfunded and despite their best efforts cannot be everywhere and do everything at once.
If I had a business in Salisbury I think I'd invest enough money to keep one bill in each cash drawer with a GPS tracker and have my eye on every move my money makes.
