Heck, this is only the crime they're willing to tell you about. Believe me, there's a whole lot more going on every day.

it's getting really bad around here-I think more and more each day about getting out of here. SPD NEEDS TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE! what does it take for them to see it?! Joe, Do you think that an organized protest infront of the SPD building would be beneficial? I'm willing to "disturb the peace" and get vocal with them inorder to get some action-I'd go to jail to prove the point! WE NEED TO DEMAND SAFETY! Unfortunately, I don't think that simply having a new mayor is going to solve it...

More officers and more on the streets getting to know the citizens and what is going on in the neighborhoods.

In reference to the intentional motor vehicle accident. That would make it an assault. Accident is what it is called a accident becuase it was not intentional. That is why the officer charged the suspect with assault. Who is the dumb A** who writes these or the supervisor who approves these to be released. Nothing but a Mickey Mouse operation.

you are aloud to protest with signs and such, just can't block teh passage of anyone or disrupt theie course of business. So go for it.

Ask for how many crimes have been reported this year and you will be amazed

Are you sure the incident at the Cactus Club wasn't Bobby Jones? Sounds just like something he would do.

My friend (21 or 22 years old) works at the Fruitland Wal Mart and was harassed/stalked. There was a note left on her car asking for her to leave her socks and that she would be paid $50 to be found in cash in a paper bag by the dumpster behind the Dollar Tree. She reported the note immediately in WalMart. Another woman had almost the same note on her car. They pulled the tapes and saw that the man was watching her and put the note on her car 5 minutes after she walked inside for her shift.
When she came home that night I called the salisbury police and expressed my concern and asked them to please patrol the house overnight in case the man followed her home. The police said they were very busy but they would see what they could do. The officer didn't seem concerned at all.
We didn't feel safe at all that night.

A woman was kidnapped from Fruitland Walmart a few days ago. She was heard screaming in the parking lot and when they pulled the tapes they saw it. I don't know what's going on with that.

I hear a lot of crime stories from my friend who works at Wal Mart.
