Traffic & Road Conditions

Joe,

Came from Salisbury to Easton this morning. Route 50 is not good at all between Salisbury and Cambridge. The open fields have definitely caused some major problems. Once you get over the bridge in Cambridge the roads are much better. When I got into Easton there was a tractor trailer that had jack knifed on Route 50. So there's a detour there. Please remind everyone to slow down. It comes up on you quickly. These people with 4-wheel drives were landing in the median. There are places where it is nothing but a sheet of ice.

I agree whole heartedly that the roads between Cambridge and Salisbury are not good. Solid sheets of ice around Linkwood and Vienna due to the drifting across the roads from the fields. It amazed me how many people passed me going at least 50 mph in these areas. Where do you need to be in such a hurry?

It amazes me that people think four wheel drive does anything but help you get going easier... lol... spoken from a snow veteran "come here," four wheel drive doesn't help you STOP. Take it slow folks...
