There will be a Mayoral Candidate Forum tonight at 7:00 PM at Chef Fred's, next to WBOC on Rt. 13.Gary Comegys held a Press Conference yesterday stated he wanted to challenge Mr. Ireton on "ISSUES." Well no crap Gary, that's what debates are all about! Let me assure you as well, Ireton will eat you alive on "ISSUES" and he'll do so by finishing a sentence before they yell TIME!
I strongly encourage you to come to Chef Fred's tonight and see first hand the massive difference between these two gentlemen. Come see for yourself who YOU want representing your City as Mayor. It really is a no brainer.

City Candidates Forum
The Wicomico County Republican Club and the Democratic Club of Wicomico County will be hosting a forum for the candidates for Mayor, 1st District Councilperson, and 2nd District Councilperson this Wednesday, March 18th, at 7:00pm.
The event will be held at Chef Fred's on Rt. 13, next to WBOC. The forum will be broken into three parts (one for each office) with approximately 30 minutes dedicated to each section. All candidates have been invited and are expected to attend. The format consists of two moderators, one Democrat and one Republican, asking questions from their clubs with a portion of time dedicated to questions from the audience.
Please come out and join us for this forum, and bring any questions you may want to ask the candidates.

It boils down to this: do you want 4 more years of the same, or do you want change?
The pressure will be on Bubba tonight big time, all Jim has to do is be himself.
Could be another Little Big Horn.
It will be interesting to see if Bubba got the "wake-up call" in the primary to rid himself of Barrie as his campaign activist and designated hitter. It looks like he has already gotten rid of Richard Insley (and probably TJ Baloney, too).
This is going to be a fight to the finish/last man standing election that should be very close by April 7.
Look for more than a few voters to sit it out.
Copycat Comegys was at it again. As campaign time drew near, he started copying Campbell and Cohen, knowing their support is huge and his own voted sucked.
When the announcements were made, he started copying Jim Ireton's platform.
Now he holds a press conference full of rhetoric and no specifics as he accuses Ireton of rhetoric.
And topping it off, he borrows from O'Malley's "One Maryland," renames it "One Salisbury," and acts like he's come up with something new.
And let's not forget his endorsement by the Grout guy. First environmentalist I've ever seen support a guy who opposed filtration on storm sewer pipes.
C'mon, Salisbury, wake up and smell the fake!

Actually One Maryland began under the Ehrlich Administration or before, but the bottom line is Bubba is a copy cat and a fake!

Better enjoy Chef Freds while you can. Rumor has it he will not be around much longer. Have you seen his bar crowd on saturdays bar closed at 12. Playing some dumb rock band. Does'nt he know people go out to dance not watch some mid life crisis wanna be rock stars.

In case you haven't noticed..We are not a night club - We don't even have a dance floor in our bar - Our main focus is serving fine quality food at a reasonable price. We also do have interactive entertainment Wed., Fri.,&Sat. nights as well as 2 for one dinner specials mon.,-Thurs.
So why would you go out to dance at a restaurant?
I've been here since 2001 and I will be here a lot longer!!

Someone who attended the forum tonight told me Bubba made a comment about "Yeah, I plagiarized a little bit, taking the One Maryland from our governor and adopting it for One Salisbury."
