Delaware State Police Detectives have arrested a 25 year-old former pre-school teacher after a 7 month investigation. She was arrested last evening March 10th. The investigation began when the mother of a 14 year-old boy from Bridgeville discovered information that her son was involved with Bollinger.. Troopers were contacted in July 2008 and the investigation began.
It was learned that Bollinger befriended the 14 year-old victim in the beginning of the summer of 2008. The two became friends through a mutual acquaintance and began to communicate regularly. In June Bollinger would pick the victim and two of his friends, a 13 year-old and 14 year-old boys, up in her car and drive them back to her apartment located on ALT US 13 north of Laurel. It is alleged that Bollinger had sexual encounters with the 14 year-old multiple times between June and July. The two friends of the victim reportedly were in the apartment while the sexual assault occurred on more than one occasion.
After the investigation began troopers attempted to locate Bollinger for several months and finally were successful in February 2009.
State Police charged Bollinger with 6 counts of Rape in the 4th degree. She was arraigned and committed to the Department of Correction in default of $12,000 secured bail pending and appearance in the Court of Common Pleas in and for Sussex County on March 19, 2009 for a preliminary hearing.
State Police learned that Bollinger was a pre-school teacher in Blades and was currently employed as a daycare manger at an exercise facility in Seaford. Troopers are asking that anyone who may have additional information concerning Bollinger’s contact with other juveniles is asked to contact the Major Crimes Unit at Troop 4 in Georgetown by calling 302-856-5850 ext 222. All information will be kept strictly confidential.

Wow,another one.I have to ask,again,are the pickings that slim out there for single women? I dont get it.All that college,career experience,is down the drain if she is indeed guilty of these charges and for what?
She might have something really bad at home. Look at her eyes, shes abused. Mentally, physically who knows. She looks like a person lost to me. Im not standing up for her, thats what the picture says to me.

I really hope know one takes this the wrong way, but I am sure you will. Was the 14 year old really a VICTOM? Was he really ASSAULTED?
Get him in private with his buddie and I am sure he was bragging about what he had done.
I dont condone in anyway...repeat ANYWAY... a 25 year old having sex with a 14 year old... and beleive she should be tried for her crime... but come on... was the 14 year old really a victom? Why a 25 year old would need to have sex with a 14 year old is beyond me, but dont think for one minute that the 14 year old was a victom or asaulted. I am sure he knew what he was doing, and am sure he enjoyed it. And I defy one man out there to deny you would not have done the same thing had you been in his place... ok there may be a couple of you bible thumping ones that would have ran... but not many.
AGAIN... I am not condoning her actions... just the fact that the report uses words like victim and assault can be misleading. Strap him to a lie detector and see what the results would be.

One last thing to add toy prvious comment... had this 14 year killed a person I am sure he would be tried as an adult. Happens all the time. So where does the law draw the line ? A 14 year year can be a minor victim but an adult criminal? Thats a thought to ponder... Maybe he assaulted her?? No way... right???

I am in no way defending her because these actions are unforgiveable. I do know for a fact that she has had a rough life (NO EXCUSE) as her mother is a crack addict and left her at a very young age. It is so sad to see the choices she has made. I feel really bad for her father and his family as I know that they have really tried to give her all of the love and support she has needed. Hopefully she will get the help she needs. With that said, if it were my child that she abused, you would be reading her obituary so please know I am not excusing her behavior. It is just extremly sad......
Uh-oh. This woman must have major psych issues. She had worked at a gym in Seaford (daycare) and acted very strangely while employed there. The person relaying her concerns to me thought she might be a meth addict. Obviously, this person needs HELP!!! In addition, children need to be protected from this type of unstable person...

I agree; those are the eyes of a woman who has been crying and is desperate to get out of a situation she put herself in. Whether she's been abused mentally or phsically, that's completely beside the point.
As for whether the boy enjoyed it or bragged to his friends about it, that doesn't matter one bit. She is still a predator who should have known better; I'm sure she did know better. Pedophiles are one sick group of people, and there is no way I will ever have any pity or compassion for them.
I know there are legitimate victims out there but this is getting crazy. These teen boys and girls who are "victims" have to bear some responsibility too. They keep going back several times over..look at the principal and the girl who met at motels. No one forced her to drive to the motel. There are so many victims out there but I just don't see these as "legit". The only reason this guy isn't still doing her is they got caught
