Louise Smith Schedules Another Clean Up On A Thursday Morning?

We have set the date for the next President Smith's Clean Up Campaign!

The date is Thursday, February 26th @ 10 a.m. here at Neighborhood Services office on Church Street.

Can someone please tell me who will be OFF on a Thursday at 10:00 AM? My guess, Comegys will be there, he works for the SHA, remember?

When writing about our so called President I feel capitalizing the name smith is not necessary and as per my observations over the last few years the word comegy and work don't fit in the same sentence.

i would bet that there would be a lot of "Church St" residents off that day. from what i have seen riding through that time of day, you probably have at least 50 upstanding citizens caring for their porches.

All part of the "great improvements" Comegys has be spouting about (and taking credit for) during his campaign. Kudos to those who actually have a trash bag in their hands and actually do bend over to pick up the used condoms, broken crack pipes, used needles and syringes. Boo to those who use the event as a tool to gain the trust and votes of those who are taken in by the lazy who only use as doormats the people who really do the work.
And while we're at it, does the Church Street area really look much different than it did a couple of years ago, before Louise decided to get some (any) face time?

It's more about getting that "Bricks" project moving forward than about the taxpayers and residents of that area. Another dog and pony show here in the 'Bury.

You must look threw the thin vineer but there is an agenda for this, trust me.

Bring on the clowns!

Some of the residents of that neighborhood who were invited, have to work. What is the City saying about this clean-up effort? You can't come because you work. You can't participate in helping your neighborhood because you work. We want you to feel left out because you work. What they really should have told the working neighbors, "don't worry about attending, we're not really intending to do any cleaning up, this is just a photo-op for Comegys (who never works) and we scheduled it at this time when we know Ireton and Caldwell will be at work so we can make it look like they don't care about the Church St. neighborhood." Now that would have been transparency in government!
