Camden Neighborhood Association Forum Update

Joe,

In answer to the commenter's question today regarding what questions will be posed to mayoral candidates at the Camden Neighborhood Association's 2009 Mayoral Candidate Forum on February 26th, I submit the following:

Camden Neighborhood Association members have been contacted to elicit questions from them on any topic, but with primary emphasis on topics which affect the neighborhood and other neighborhoods which may have similar concerns. These will take priority.

The Salisbury University Student Government Association has also been invited to submit questions that impact those students living within the Camden neighborhood, as well as questions which might affect students in general. Again, questions which address neighborhood concerns will take priority.

Following the presentation of elicited questions, time will be allotted to those who have questions of a more general nature. These may be submitted on site via the 3x5" cards we will make available.

We will call the event to a close not later than 10:00 p.m.

The meeting is open to everyone. Please be advised that seating is limited, and that the first row of seating will be reserved for the handicapped and those 65 years and older, to afford those people the best opportunity to hear and view the proceedings.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Tim Spies
President, Camden Neighborhood Association

UPDATE: Joe,

Mr. Comegys just sent his confirmation via Blackberry. This brings confirmations to the whole field of candidates.

I look at that photo of Tim Spies and just want to scream, yell, cry that Bubba got in instead of Tim.

Spies is head and shoulders above Bubba in every way. Spies = A Class Act. Gary = Barrie.

Considering the timeline here I assume Comegys is reading the blog for his daily news.

Is it acceptable for a state employee(Comegys) to read blogs on the internet and to conduct personal business while on state time? Who owns the phone? Who pays the bill. My educated guess tells me that Comegys is conducting personal business with the city council and this election while being paid by the state of Maryland(Us).

THIS man should be sitting on the city council. What the hell is wrong with people in this city? They passed up an opportunity to not only have a good man with moral terpitude but he is also a member of MENSA.

Gary, MENSA is a group of people that score in the 98th percentile of certain standardized tests. Just in case you were wondering.

Gary, translation:

MENSA is for people with exceptionally high IQ's. YOU do NOT qualify.

I hope the students get a clue this time. Tim Spies is the man they yelled they hated when at the polls, yet he is inviting them to participating.

He's a bigger and better man than all of those who yelled put together and a far bigger and better man than Gary Comegys, who lied to cozied up to students, then changed the noise law penalty when the kids were out of town. He was hoping that would suck up to the Camden people enough to get him elected mayor.

People, don't FALL for this s--- again!
